Is CRM the solution to business success?

CRM is about managing customer relationship. It is believed that a good relationship is the key success factor for closing any business deal, but this shouldn't and couldn't be achieved through advanced application. The purpose of application is to allow user to complete complicated tasks efficiently but not necessarily effectively. Why not effective? If it's effective, then enterprise won't have to use data-mining skills to deal with junk information.

The success of CRM greatly depends on personal interactions, or the experience of each touchpoint. The experience will be used to decide whether future touchpoint is likely.

Managing touchpoint experience is thus the key success factor for sustainable business growth.
